Herpes B became a regulated toxin under the
Patriot Act of 2001.
Long before the Patriot Act, laboratories
across America were warned not to treat Herpes B lightly and
federal guidelines were issued to facilities like Emory/Yerkes
on the handling of Herpes B and exposure precautions.
Yerkes' management disregarded these precautions
are are directly responsible for the death of Elizabeth Griffin. |
