received from the California National Primate Research Center report
#28100, a female, was murdered by experimenters and staff at
CNPRC on 08/04/04 after being used in a 'Valley Fever' experiment.
Her necropsy report identifies pneumonia and telangiectasis were
present at her premature death. Comments from the same report indicate
nodules consistent with Valley Fever were present due to her artifical
              exposure in the laboratory.
#28100 was 15 years and 10 months old when she died.
During her 10 year stay at CNPRC, she had 5 unborn children removed
from her body so they too could be examined for the effects of Valley
              Fever.
#28100's life was a history of poor appetite, nosebleeds, pregnancy
terminations, injections and exposure to Valley Fever, a condition
according to the CDC that has decreased since the 1940s and 1950s.
              A
Valley Fever vaccine that showed promise in animal trials was not
well tolerated in humans Valley Fever affects few people and
most who do contract it are not aware of it. Most who show signs
are insignificantly affected and in a brief period are asymptomatic.
CDC studies report those who will receive a VF vaccination cannot
expect significant improvements in their Quality of Life Days as
those being vaccinated for measles, rubella, mumps and pertussis.
#28100 was exposed to a bacteria few people are affected by so
that a few people at UC Davis can make an easy buck.
Livia McRee, a friend to primates and the Tag wearer for #28100,
obtained the laboratory records and made it possible for a lasting
testament to live on about the cruelty this primate endured. Thank
              you Livia.
Your silence signals acceptance. Speak out.
