The
19 months of life for Rhesus Macaque #30914 were summarized
in 6 pages of CNPRC lab reports.
#30914
was born at CNPRC on 4/16/98 and was killed on 11/22/99 as part
of an experiment.
During
the 19 months, living in a foreign environment, blood was drawn
repeatedly, he was moved numerous times, bumps and lesions were
noted on lab reports, had rashes on his abdomen, thighs, face and
elsewhere.
This
rash lasted for the last 6 months of his life-beginning 5/99 until
his death in Nov.
Noted
on his necropsy (autopsy) report, #30914 was diagnosed with measles
and a severe skin rash.
We
have to wonder what was learned from the death of this 2.5 pound
individual.
PFP
wishes to thank Buff Whitman-Bradley for requesting the lab records
from CNPRC. Buff wears #30914's Tag.
